Palo Arte Woodworks is excited to announce the participation of master woodturner Jake Gevorgian in a special collaborative exhibition at the prestigious Matthew Brown Gallery in Los Angeles. Titled in collaboration with artist Omari, the show highlights a stunning collection of hand-turned oak bowls crafted from sustainably sourced fallen California oak trees.
Each bowl showcases Jake’s signature attention to detail — celebrating the natural beauty of the wood’s grain, rich tonal variations, and organic forms that only nature and skilled craftsmanship can produce. These functional sculptures embody the perfect balance between utility and art, reflecting years of expertise in traditional woodturning techniques.
The exhibition is currently on view and runs through early August 2026. It offers collectors and design enthusiasts the opportunity to experience and acquire unique pieces that bridge contemporary art and timeless woodworking traditions.
Located in Los Angeles, the Matthew Brown Gallery provides a sophisticated setting that perfectly complements the warmth and craftsmanship of these oak works. This show further establishes Jake Gevorgian and Palo Arte Woodworks as leading voices in the California wood art scene.
